Double sided foam tapes are launched.

Five new double sided foam tapes are now available from tesa.

tesa 62934 and 62936 complete the industrial bonding range which also includes tesa 62932. Both these tapes feature a high density closed cell PE foam and a tackified acrylic adhesive and offer very good long term performance and suitability for outdoor applications. Temperature resistance is up to 80°C for both tapes.tesa 62934 is 0.8mm thick and available in black or white; tesa 62936 is 1.6mm and available in white only. Both tapes are ideal for applications on rough or uneven surfaces or where there may be vibration from machinery.

tesa 62852, 62854 and 62855 differ from the industrial bonding range in that they all have a pure acrylic adhesive, offering improved holding power at temperatures up to 90°C. tesa 62852 has a 0.51mm thick, black, high density EVA/PE foam backing; tesa 62854 a 0.8mm thick, black, medium density closed cell PE foam and tesa 62855 a 0.9mm, high density black, EVA/PE foam.

Completing the double sided foam tape range are tesa 64958 which has a 1 mm thick low density PE foam carrier and synthetic rubber adhesive for internal applications; tesa 4957 with a 1.1mm thick low density PE foam carrier and acrylic adhesive and tesa 4952 with a 1.15mm thick medium density PE foam carrier. tesa 4957 has ift-Rosenheim certification for bonding window bars to insulating glass, and tesa 4952 has LGA certification for bonding mirrors to furniture and which recommends 61 cm² of tesa 4952 per 1 kg of mirror.
